Hi, I'm an Australian Artist based in Albury NSW, with a formal education in Fine Art & illustration. Creating Murals professionally since 2017, for clients such as Albury City Council, Wodonga Council, Coffee Chakra & Federation Council.

Using exterior house paint, & traditional brush I create highly detailed custom Murals. With well over 15 years experience drawing and painting, my passion is changing spaces by imbuing them with meaning through art. When designing Murals my goal is to not only create something beautiful, but to also tell a story.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Artist Statement

Kristina Greenwood is a mixed media artist who's work playfully wonders between reality and the imaginary. Her illustrations are vivid, contain deep spiritual undertones, and aim to evoke a strong sense of otherworldliness.  Exploring the unseen, Kristina attempts to bridge the gap between the tangible and the transcendental.

Drawing inspiration from modern visionary and surrealist artists such as Miles Johnston and Lauren LS, Kristina journeys into the depths of the human psyche and connects that to the ethereal realms beyond. Her use of materials is diverse, a layered collage of mediums that invites viewers to experience the boundaries where the real and imagined blur. A space where the spiritual dimensions are palpably felt.

Each painting is a manifestation of her fascination with the unknown, and the complexity of the human experience from an existential perspective. A dialogue where intuition and imagination seamlessly intertwine, allowing space for viewers to have their own personal and profound experience with the art.

Overall Kristina aims to invoke us with a deeper connection to the mysteries of both the inner and external landscapes and allow you to draw your own meaning from the realms she presents.
